Governors’ Profiles

Lynn Mcglynn

LynnI became a Parent Governor at Mottingham Primary School when my son moved from Dorset Road Infant School in Year 3.

I have always been very interested in my son’s education and I saw this as an opportunity to become more involved; I now try and support the school in any way that I can.  I regularly attend school trips with all year groups and I try to read with the children once a week. This enables me to speak to the pupils and teachers and get to know them better.

My previous background was in the Banking Sector where I worked for a high street bank for nearly 20 years before my son was born. We relocated from West London to Mottingham 9 years ago and since then I have been a stay at home mum.  I have recently completed a Supporting Teaching and Learning course at Bromley College. This has proven to be very useful not only in my day to day contact with the children and the school, but also in my role as Parent Governor.

I very much enjoy my role within the school and try to bring a parent’s perspective to any discussions which we may have. I feel that it is important that parents are represented within the school and I hope that this is something that I am able to achieve.

Anna's phote

I’m Anna Hindocha and have quite recently joined the Local Governing Body. I am a practising solicitor but am currently at home with two small children and their future education is something I am very concerned about. Having enjoyed my own time at two excellent Bromley schools I am passionate about maintaining the high standards of education in Bromley, and it is my hope that former Mottingham Primary School pupils look back at their hugely important formative school years with the fondness and appreciation that I do.

I believe that every child deserves the very best education and school governors play a critical part in supporting and challenging the school to deliver it. I have been so impressed with the commitment of all staff and governors to Mottingham Primary School and will be glad to assist the school in achieving its aim of outstanding status.
